Hello Sunshine

Hello crafters, it is Shirley here today!  I have made a card with one of my favorite color combo's. I think that yellow is a happy color and I like using it with black.

I chose a white card base to start with today. I layered it with yellow and black card stock. I took a stitched white layer and stamped a cute little sun in the corner, which I colored it with a yellow marker.

I used the Spellbinders Floral Oval die on black card stock. I took yellow card stock and cut an umbrella from it, using the Spellbinders Inspire Umbrella Trio.

I cut the clouds using the Memory Box Puffy Clouds die set. I thought the cloud would be the perfect place to stamp my sentiment. I think it looks great there.

I used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to attach all of the die cuts to my card. I have no idea how I made a card before I found this adhesive. I use it on every card I make. I am almost out of it so I will have to order more of it soon.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you have a great weekend!

WOW, Shirley, this card is BOTH - HAPPY and SUNSHINE-Y - made me smile to open this one up!! Love that floral oval die to set off the black and yellow umbrella!! Goes to show you that even on a gloomy day, we can still see the sun if only we look for it!! The black layering makes the yellow even more brilliant - AWESOME card!!
