Beach Wreath

Hi, Diane with you today.

This week our challenge theme is A Day At The Beach. Isn't that a pretty beach scene on the inspiration photo? I wish I were there right now!

I started my card with an Impression Obsession Cracked Paint Cover-A-Card stamp, stamped with Unicorn ink for the background.

The wreath was made with Impression Obsession Twig Wreath, which I cut twice and layered. The cute little shells, starfish, and sand dollar are Impression Obsession Mini Shell set.

I used the Paper Blossoms Craft Molding Mat, and Paper Blossoms Paper Tool Kit, to form both the starfish and the sand dollars. It just gives them both a nice, natural look.

The sentiment is one I have had in my supplies of goodies.

The bird is Impression Obsession Shore Birds.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I hope you will join in our challenge with us!

Berry Sweet

Hi, Diane with you today!

This week our challenge is Summer Picnic, using the colors Kraft~Red~White. Now, I don't know about you, but I love a picnic!

I started my card with an embossing folder that to me, looked like a basket weave, embossed on Kraft card stock. A good choice for this is Spellbinders Basket Weave 3D embossing folder.

I stamped my gingham checks on white card stock, using Impression Obsession, Gingham Cover A Card stamp. I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals Small to cut the gingham background. (A little tip, these dies are on sale in the store right now)!

The basket is a Memory Box die cut, you could use the
Memory Box Bountiful Basket, which is slightly different from the one I used.

The strawberries were made using a PoppyStamps die
Heart Balloons. This die cuts 4 balloons in a heart shape. One happens to be an outline, leaving a perfect cut
little heart, which is what I used for my berries!

To make the berries more realistic, I embossed them with Crafts Too Dots embossing folder. The stems were made with Impression Obsession Leaf Cluster. This die comes with 2 sizes of the leaf clusters. I used the larger for the berries and the smaller for the berry blossoms. The berry blossoms were made with Impression Obsession Tiny Flowers.

The banner is from Memory Box Banner Parade die. A few Sequins and a twine bow were added to finish. You can make your own sequins, using the My Favorite Things Sequins die and one of the many Foil papers.

I hope to see YOU join in our challenge with us!

Blooms For Mom

Hi Classy Friends!

Diane with you today with my card for our challenge this week, which is Mother's Day!

I wanted a bright, cheerful, and happy card, and I think I achieved that using some awesome products from Classy Cards 'n Such.

I started by stamping the  Impression Obsession Gingham - Cover - A - Card  background stamp on white card stock. I cut a Spellbinders Oval from Cryogen White Curious Metallic card stock, and adhered it to the Gingham panel with Scor-tape 1/2".

My newest die is the PoppyStamps Garden Bouquet. I cut it twice, colored the inside flower pieces using Susan's Garden Pan Pastels Flower Coloring Kit, then adhered those in the flower outlines.

The sentiment is from the JustRite set Floral Basket.

The pretty pink butterfly is a Joy! Crafts Butterfly trio die.

I simply finished with a ribbon bow and Amber Rhinestones in the flower centers.

Thank you for visiting with me today!!

Rain Clouds

Hello Classy Friends, Diane here with you today to share my card I made for this weeks challenge Rainy Days.

I had a lot of fun with this card. First by stenciling Memory Box Texture Raindrops onto a blue card stock using Dreamweaver Translucent Embossing Paste.

Once the paste had dried, I die cut 2 large clouds from
Memory Box Cloud Bank. I have to say, this is my "go to" die for all my clouds!

I die cut an umbrella using Spellbinders Umbrella Trio. The umbrella was stamped with Impression Obsession Gingham cover a card background stamp. I only inked a small portion for the umbrella.

I used a Versamark pen on the handle and tip of the umbrella, then heat set it with Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Silver Detail embossing powder!

The umbrella was filled with Memory Box Dancing Tulips, and Impression Obsession Grass that I cut apart. For a bit of added textural fun, I added a few Water Dew Drops.

We would love for you to join in our challenges with us...
