Hello, Diana here today! There are two types of cards that are hard for me - sympathy cards and masculine cards.
When I saw the Memory Box Row of Poppies, I thought it would make a perfect sympathy card.
I started with a stitched rectangle die cut from MFT Blueprints 13. I used the Memory Box Textured Mesh stencil, and sponged some Broken China over just a small section of the layer.
Next was to die-cut the Row of Poppies out of watercolor paper, and use markers to color them.
Adding a PoppyStamps Delaney Butterfly cut from gold SB Precious Metals Craft Foil.
Last, I added a double bow made with the Bow-Easy, and added a sympathy tag using ODBD Mini Tag Sentiments and Dies as well as a gold cross.
The card was still a little flat to me, so I die cut and colored some of the poppies and popped up three of the blooms with small Joy! Foam Pads. A little dimension can go a long way!

Abstract Birthday
Hello
friends, Mindy here, sharing a card for a masculine birthday with you
today. I have trouble making cards for gentlemen, whether they are
family or friends. I think it is all in my mind, but I am hesitant to
begin designing them whenever a birthday is near.
I hope you will enjoy this card, and check out all of the New merchandise available at the Classy Cards n' Such online store.
I started by making my A2 size card base from a half sheet of the amazing So...Silk Glamour Green card stock. This paper is so beautiful, and makes such a wonderful card base. I then looked through my stash of mono and multi-print papers that I pulled from my Gelli Plate by Gelli Arts. I love making this printed paper in my spare time, when not designing cards. I trim down my pages to fit the A2 size card so they are ready to use when I want to make a card or project. I then took a coordinating sheet from the Foil Paper - Textured Patterns 1 paper pack, and cut several squares and rectangles from it.
After adhering these shapes in a pleasing pattern I cut a sheet of the gold, from the same pack, with the Flower Vine die cut from Anna Griffin. I cut this design apart in three pieces and adhered them to the card front.
To complete this card, I attached a square of the textured paper with Large Foam Pads from Joy! to add some depth and dimension, and a birthday greeting from the Greeting Set dies from Impression Obsession.
I hope you have a wonderful day full of blessings!

God is... All Is Well
Hi!
Diana here! Do you find masculine cards hard to make? I certainly do
- which is a bit ironic since I'm the lone female in our chaotic
household. I like to keep my colors for masculine cards neutral and
without too many embellishments. However, I can't resist a bit of
twine.
I die-cut a rectangle using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A, and then colored it with Distress Stains Broken China, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade.
I then stamped the swinging image from Sweet 'n Sassy God Is stamp set in Versafine black ink. I also cut another layer out of Kraft card stock with the large stitched rectangle die from MFT Blueprint 13.
After stamping the sentiment on a die cut from Spellbinders Label 8, I popped it up with small Joy! foam pads.
Using my white gel pen, I added some stars to complete my card.
Thank you so much for looking!
Don't forget to check out the amazing sale posted this morning. Each day's sale is only good from midnight to midnight.
Thanks for stopping by!!! Until next time...

In Nature
Hi, it's Misti!
Can I share a secret with you? I'm surrounded by boys/men and yet I have a hard time making masculine cards.
When I saw that one of the sheets of paper in the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6" x 6" paper pad looked like old weathered boards, I got a little excited. I thought it would make perfect masculine birthday or Father's Day cards. The way my weeks are flying by, if I don't get started, I'm going to have a few masculine cards to make all at one time.
I used the In Nature set from Flourishes, and stamped it in black onto white cardstock. I water colored it in using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers of Peeled Paint, Broken China, Frayed Burlap, and Vintage Photo, along with the Detail Water Brush.
I cut a strip from Wild Cherry and Deep Blue pieces of cardstock from the Layering Swatches to make little flag type one on end. One masculine card down, several more to go!
A great look for a masculine card! Thanks Misti!

For The Men
I have a masculine card made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such. I challenged myself to pick an element and make both a feminine card and a masculine card using that same element. The feminine card will be posted another time.
The element I used is a beautiful embossing folder called Feathers by Crafts Too!.
The sentiments on this card are from Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Two stamp set from JustRite. This set has many sentiments that can be configured in lots of different ways. For this card, I stamped a few of them on vellum.
I used the JustRite Custom Die made by Spellbinders, called Vintage Label Two Dies for the larger sentiment.
This turned out to be a quick and simple card - but most masculine cards are!

Holly's Green Ducks
Have you made your Father's Day cards yet? You still have time to order the special Father's Day bundles on sale from Classy Cards 'n Such. I showed you one card yesterday, and this is the second card I've made with the the Father's Day Homeward Bound Bundle. This card will be for my husband.
I used the Homeward Bound die to cut some white cardstock, then I embossed the whole thing with
the Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I pulled out the Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade re-inkers along with my old Peeled Paint reinker and made a
background using the Pulled Reinkers technique from Technique Junkies. The
inside of the card has a sentiment from the Happy Father's Day Outline Sticker Sheet.
Do you see how the addition of a green ink
totally changed the mood of the background? Yesterday's card was bright and
eye-catching, and this card is more muted, more calm.
Grab your special Father's Day bundle(s) now while they are still on sale!
:-)

Holly's Peacock Ducks
Have you made your Father's Day cards yet? You still have time to order the special Father's Day bundles on sale from Classy Cards 'n Such. This is the card I will be sending to my Dad this week. I used the Father's Day Homeward Bound Bundle for this card.
I used the Homeward Bound die to cut some white cardstock, then I embossed the whole thing with
the Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I pulled out the Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade re-inkers and made a background using the Pulled Reinkers technique
from Technique Junkies. The inside of the card has a sentiment from the Happy Father's Day Outline Sticker Sheet. I love the vibrant colors of the background
against the warm gold embossed image!
Check back tomorrow for another card I've made with this bundle. I've used
the same products, but it looks slightly different. :-) In the meantime, don't
forget to go order your Father's Day bundles so you can get your cards made!
