Celebrate Every Day

Good morning, Joy here posting a card made with supplies from  the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

First, was to emboss a piece of white card stock with an embossing folder called Juliet Damask, by Anna Griffin.

Then I added some designer paper from the 6x6 paper pack called Vintage Bliss by Simple Stories.

The "Celebrate" word was die cut, then Wink of Stella added and glossy accents on top of that for some extra shine.

The butterfly stamp is from Majestic Monarchs, and it was die cut using the Majestic Monarch die, both from Sweet 'n Sassy, and covered with Wink of Stella.

The corners were rounded using the corner rounder of the Envelope Punch Board.

I hope your day is one to celebrate - every day we should celebrate something!

A Special Gift

A special gift ~ from me to you!

Good afternoon friends, Mindy here to share another special card great for parties of any kind. I had some of my Spritz and Sprinkle background left over from my challenge card this week, and thought I would use it to make another party card for our 100th challenge.

The background was made on watercolor paper, with the spritz and sprinkle technique using Ken Oliver's Color Bursts. These are a very vivid pigmented color powder that we now sell all twelve colors of in the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

I used Alizarin CrimsonMerlot, and Yellow Ochre to spritz and sprinkle on the paper, after I laid down my Mini Ring Doily plastic stencil from the Crafters Workshop. I then misted with water and lifted the plastic stencil to view the white outline made from the stencil, protecting the paper from the pigmented ink.

While the background was drying, I die cut the Rose Doily #4 from Prima, out of white card stock and adhered it to the background with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive with Metal Tip.

I then stamped the Flower Gift Boxes stamp from Impression Obsession, and colored it in with fine tipped markers. I fussy cut around the box stack and adhered it to the background with Joy! Large Foam Pads to give it depth and dimension.

I added a banner with a sentiment from Keep in Touch, Too stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, and a few assorted Pearls to finish my card.

Framed Poppy

Good Morning, it is Shirley posting. I have made a beautifully framed Poppy card to share with you today. I really like the bright and happy colors.

I started my card using a gold colored card base. The next layer is made from a Heartfelt Creations Blazing Poppies  paper pad. It has gorgeous paper in it, and Beverly can order it for you if you like it.

I stamped my image which is from a Heartfelt Creations cling stamp set called Blazing Poppy Vase. I colored it with markers. I used a circle die to cut the image out. I left the image in the die and sponged around it with distress ink.

I cut four Poppy Stamps Angel Corner dies from white card stock. I layered the corners behind the circle. They make a beautiful frame for the poppy vase.

I used the Jolly Bumblebees die, by Memory Box, to cut the bee and placed it on my flower. I added a piece of gold rick rack across the vase to complete my card.

I used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive and the Art Institute Metal Tip to adhere the pieces to my card.

Thank you, for dropping by today to take a look at my card.

Birthday Wishes Tag

Hi, it's Jenny today, with a tag I made inspired by the current challenge. It's a color challenge this week with Reds, Pinks, Blue, Green and Yellow. I was trying to figure out how to incorporate all these colors when I got the idea to use my distress ink.

I started by cutting a tag from an old manila folder, using a Tim Holtz tag die from my stash. I placed a Memory Box stencil, very similar to the Memory Box Pattern Tula stencil sold at Classy Cards 'n Such on top, while I sponged various distress inks using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. To get the colors to blend and add a little glam, I sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Pearl over the top.

While the ink was drying, I cut the "Birthday Wishes" words out of the Impression Obsession Greeting set, and colored them with blue distress ink. When the tag was dry, I glued the words and  Water Dew Drops to the surface, added some string and was done. This almost has a tie dye appearance which is kind of fun. I think I could use it both for a gift for an adult or for a child!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you can join in the challenge this week!
