Hi, it's Jenny posting today with a card inspired by the new challenge.
I only used one Memory Box die on this card, but it is so lovely it can
stand on it's own.
I cut the oval center out with the main Memory Box Country Fence Oval
Frame die. I colored the die cut with distress inks, trying to use more
muted greens so the grass didn't look too spring-like. I set the die
cut aside to dry, and took another piece of white card stock and created a
background.
I misted the background paper using Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist. It has a lovely sheen to it. Then, I sprinkled the new Ken Oliver Color
Bursts over the damp paper. The colors spread and blend together so
nicely. It's also a lot of fun to do. The background looks like an
impressionist or maybe pointalist painting.
Finally, I glued the die cut to the background and positioned the white oval
frame around the die. I then took the whole project and mounted it
onto a light blue A2 sized card.

Birthday Wishes Tag
Hi, it's Jenny today, with a tag I made inspired by the current
challenge. It's a color challenge this week with Reds, Pinks, Blue,
Green and Yellow. I was trying to figure out how to incorporate all
these colors when I got the idea to use my distress ink.
I started by cutting a tag from an old manila folder, using a Tim Holtz tag die from my stash. I placed a Memory Box stencil, very similar to the Memory Box Pattern Tula stencil sold at Classy Cards 'n Such on top, while I sponged various distress inks using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. To get the colors to blend and add a little glam, I sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Pearl over the top.
While the ink was drying, I cut the "Birthday Wishes" words out of the Impression Obsession Greeting set, and colored them with blue distress ink. When the tag was dry, I glued the words and Water Dew Drops to the surface, added some string and was done. This almost has a tie dye appearance which is kind of fun. I think I could use it both for a gift for an adult or for a child!

Thinking of You
Hi! Jenny here today, with a card inspired by the new #97 Inspiration Photo challenge. The
bunny in the photo is so sweet. I just wanted to recreate the entire
scene and here's my version!
First I used an embossing folder from my stash to get the brick background. I then sponged with Distress Ink using my Mini Ink Blending Tool.
The bunnies are from an Impression Obsession die in my stash. They were cut with white card stock and colored with distress ink and then spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist. The Glimmer Mist blended the Distress Ink and added a nice sheen to the bunnies. The bunnies were adhered to the card front using Joy Large Foam Pads. *NOTE: You can find all sorts of bunnies at the Classy Cards 'n Such online store. Just type "bunnies" in the search box.*

The Grass Border and "Thinking

from Impression Obsession is so versatile, and if you follow my Wednesday
posts you've seen them before.
The
hanging branches are from Poppystamps Weeping Willow Branches die.
After I cut the willow and grass, I sponged them with a little Peeled Paint Distress Ink using my Mini Ink Blending Tool. Last I adhered the
bunnies with Joy! Large Foam Pads.

Birthday Wishes
Hi, it's Jenny posting today with a card for the new Fancy Pearls challenge. Add a pearl to your project and join this challenge for a chance to win a great prize!
I found this frame that had been cut out of the Love Letters paper pad using Impression Obsession 6-in-1 Frame die and began creating from there. Using a soft pink paper from the Love Letters 6x6 pad I cut the Memory Box Petite Cakes. My pearls seemed a little large to decorate the cakes with so I used Liquid Pearls from my stash instead.
The Memory Box Scalloped Cake Stands were heat embossed using Shabby White embossing powder from the Frantage Embossing Powder set. I love the shiny coverage I can achieve with this embossing powder. The cake stands look like glass.

After the cakes and frame were assembled and adhered to the background paper using Joy Foam Adhesive Pads I decided the card needed another color. I found a pretty green coordinating paper in the Love Letters paper pad and cut the Impression Obsession Tied Line and Impression Obsession Greeting Set to get the Birthday Wishes phrase.
Then came the fun part. I glued pearls from my stash to the sides of the frames, and a Rock Candy adhesive gem to the center of the bow on the Tied Line die. I sprayed the Chalk White Seam Binding with Pearl Glimmer Mist and scrunched it a little before tying a bow. I then tied the bow to the frame using some silver twine from my stash. The bow really shines. Thanks for looking and I can't wait to see your pearl creations this week!

Happy Birthday
Hi, it's Jenny posting today with a CAS card I made for a friend's birthday.
I began by cutting the Memory Box Trellis Border with Kraft card stock. I cut the Happy Birthday using Impression Obsession's Greeting Set dies, and colored the phrase with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The Tattered Lace Ferns die was cut with white card stock, and colored with a variety of green Distress Inks and a Mini Ink Blending Tool.
The flower was created from the new Heartfelt Creations Botanical Wings die. I wanted a flat flower for easier mailing, so I only used three of the layers. After spritzing with a Glimmer Mist from my stash, I molded the flower using my Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and Molding Mat. I applied Stickles to the edges and then added a Clear Rock Candy center.
Last I popped up the top card layer by using Joy Foam Pads to adhere it to the A2 card base. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out our weekly challenge for a chance to win a great prize!
