Rose Red

Hi, it's Jenny here today with a new card I made using the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Wings die.

I started by stamping the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose Stamps, and then cut them with the matching Botanical Wings die. I sprayed the flowers with water and scrunched them up. I also used a stylus from the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit to help shape, while gluing the flower layers together.

I used Spray Stain and Glimmer Mists to color the roses and while they were drying I assembled the rest.

The A2 card has a layer of Kraft card stock, and then a layer of Graphic 45 Botanical Tea.

I cut and colored the frilly Joy! Crafts Circle, using distress ink and a Mini Ink Blending Tool. Next, I stamped the JustRite Floral Vintage Labels 2 sentiment, on a Spellbinders circle from my stash. The circle was popped up higher using Joy Foam Pads to adhere it to the card.

I added the black centers, (from a die in my stash), and pearls to the flowers, and arranged them around the circle. After gluing them down I added foliage from the Memory Box Fresh Foliage die.

Thanks for looking!

Beach Step Card

Hi! It is Shirley posting today.  I saw an accordion fun fold card on Pinterest the other day, that looked interesting and not to difficult to make. There was a video/tutorial and it was easy to follow. That is a good thing, because if it gets too involved or things take a bad turn, I usually am done with making something new. I bet you know what I mean.  If you want to watch the tutorial, click on the link above.

Graphic 45~Beach Fun

I used a turquoise card base and layered it with a yellow card stock. The designer paper that I used is the Graphic 45 By The Sea 8 X 8 paper pad.

The "By The Sea" title was cut from the By The Sea paper pad. This pad makes it easy to make cards. I love the pictures they provide so you can make a really quick card if you like. The beach sign  post was made with a die from my collection and the "To The Beach" was cut from the paper pad, also.

I used the Impression Obsession Mini Nautical Die Set to cut the anchors, the lighthouse and the ring buoy. The sailboats were cut with the  Impression Obsession Sailboats die set. The waves were made with a border die from my collection. *There is a really cool Waves die by Joy Craft in the CCNS online store that is available. It is in the supply list below.*

The truck was created by using the Impression Obsession Classic Truck die. I made the mounds of sand using a border die. The grass was cut using the Impression Obsession Grass die.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Come back and see us again soon.

Happy Retirement

Hi, Diane with you today! Don't you just love it when you can take a bit of ink, a few dies, some card stock, and have a quick card in no time? I know I do and this card was fast and perfect for the occasion.

I first started by inking up a blue card stock panel with Distress Broken China ink and the Mini Ink Blending Tool,
to represent a swirling ocean. The waves are Joy! Crafts  Waves die. I popped up my waves with Joy! Small Foam Pads. I slightly bent the waves for a bit more of a 3D effect!

The Impression Obsession Sailboats was cut from white card stock, then I colored the bottom with a red marker. This set of dies has 3 different sailboats, I used the largest one.

I wanted a pattern for the Impression Obsession Sea Birds, so I used a gray ink on white card stock, using Impression Obsession Cracked Paint Cover a Card stamp, (as shown above), then die cut them out.

I finished by adding a sentiment and a  bit of twine!

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Wedding Cake

Happy Wednesday! It's Jenny today sharing a card for
the new June Bride Wedding Challenge.

The inspiration card was gorgeous, and I toyed with the idea of making a garden scene, but my wish to use this Impression Obsession Wedding Cake die won out. I love the little cake topper couple and the fun decorating bits.

I began by cutting the cake out of Cryogen White Curious Metallic paper.  It's difficult to see in the photo but this touch can turn a simple card into an elegant card.  I glued on the little details that came with the cake, cutting the edges of the scallops so they fit on the bottom cake layer.  They were sponged with Spun Sugar Distress Ink and my Mini Ink Blending Tool.  I also used this tool to color the center of the rectangle frame behind the cake.

The cake was adhered to the beautiful Joy Crafts Frame and Three Corners using Joy Crafts Large Foam Pads.  The Rectangle Frame was also cut with Cryogen White Curious Metallic.  It was then layered on top of a piece of patterned paper from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Paper Pad. The design paper was backed with pink card stock and then a Cryogen White Curious Metallic A2 card base.

I added a bit of twine from my stash, Baby Pink Pearls and some super tiny pearls from my stash to add a little glamour.

Thanks for looking and don't forget there's still time to join in this week's challenge!
