Birthday Blossoms

Good morning, this is a card I made using supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such for the challenge this week for the Bee Happy challenge.

The flower stamp is from JustRite's Botanical Medallions and Banners, the green swirl is from the set and the sentiment is from JustRite's Hope and Love Vintage Labels Eight and Nine.

The pretty paper is from Graphic 45's Secret Garden.  I used Tim Holtz ink and the Mini-Ink Blending Tool to make the blue background and used markers for the coloring. With a few added White Baby Pearls,(which are on sale!), my card was complete.

We sure would like for you to show us what you would do with this challenge. You could be the winner of a nice prize! Just make your project following the guidelines, which can be found by clicking on the Current Challenge tab.

Mason Jars Daisies

Hi there! Diane with you today, with a fun card
using some really neat products from Classy Cards 'n Such!

I cut a white card stock panel, grabbed some TH Distress Shabby Shutters ink, a Memory Box Garden Leafy Branches stencil and let the fun begin.

I taped the stencil to my craft mat at the top and bottom, and held the area down I was stenciling with my finger, applying the ink with the Mini Ink Blending Tool. I love the soft pretty background, and, it was very fast to do!

Next I did some stamping, using Impression Obsession
Mason Jars Small stamp. I stamped on Vellum with Versamark, and Sparkle 'n Sprinkle White Fine Detail embossing powder. I then snipped the handle off each jar. I also stamped Impression Obsession Wood Seed Box
with white ink.

The flowers were made using the small blossoms that come with Impression Obsession Hydrangea set. The yellow in the flower centers is  Viva Decor Pearl Pen - Yellow. The flower stems are from Memory Box Blooming Violets. That is one thing I love about all the dies, they can so easily be mixed and matched!

I based my card on our challenge this week, which is
Loves Me, Loves Me Not and add a daisy.

Rustic Christmas

Hello Classy Friends! Diane here with you today. I have been in the mood to make Christmas cards lately. Must be the cooler air and the fact the trees are bare that is making me think of the holidays fast approaching.

If you are like me, you make your cards as early as you can before the season sneaks upon you and you have no time for anything!

I love this newer die by Memory Box called Pinecone Frame. This die cuts a negative, a bit different from most dies. I cut it using paper from Authentique Believe 6 x 6 paper pad. Before I adhered it to my card stock, I sponged Tim Holtz Distress Inks Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain under the places where the pine cones would be.

I cut it a second time on a scrap piece of paper to get the brown branch, I also cut several Memory Box Pine Needles, gluing them down where I wanted them, then adhering my branch on top of them.

I used a stamp from the JustRite Inner Thoughts set for my sentiment. The card was finished with twine from the Doodlebug Doodle Twine - Christmas Assortment and a jingle bell from my stash.

Thank you for visiting today and don't forget we have a weekly challenge. By clicking on the Current Challenge tab, it will lead you to right spot for your entry!

Holiday Floral

Hi, it's Jenny posting today.  This is my design for the Ornament Challenge.

I love this Lydia Ornament die from Memory Box.  The detail is amazing and depending on the colors and how it's positioned, it could be used for more than just Christmas projects.

I cut the Memory Box Lydia Ornament die with white card stock and then used the die as a stencil to sponge the flowers with distress ink. I then cut the Memory Box Traditional Ornament out of green card stock, and glued the two ornaments together. The flowers were covered in clear Stickles for sparkle.

The circle was cut out of the green patterned paper with a Spellbinders Standard Circle Large die. The green paper was then popped up using Joy! Foam pads to add dimension.

The branch was cut from an older Memory Box Sprig die. The "berries" were colored with distress ink and then painted with clear Stickles.

I added the bow and piece of twine, and then the Mother of Pearl Rhinestones, for a little glitz.  I hope you can join us this week for our latest challenge!
