Hello

Hello Classy Friends!  This week our challenge is to use a neutral palette.  We have a beautiful inspiration photo to get you started!

I decided to go with totally cream colors.  Using the inspiration photo for guidance, (click on the current challenge tab on the right of the blog to see photo).

I embossed a cream panel with Darice Quilt Blocks embossing folder.  This has to be one of my most favorite folders to date!

Next I cut a heart from Spellbinders Lace Hearts.  To achieve the heart shown, I used two hearts from the set, one inside the other, then cut...pretty isn't it?

Next I cut Impression Obsession Bird On a Branch from Authentique 6 x 6 paper pad Faith.  This pad has a beautiful collection of neutral papers.

I finished by adding a sentiment held by a tiny clothespin
and added a few gold Dew Drops.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Merry Christmas

Hello, today it's Joy with a card made with supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.  This afternoon I was invited to a last minute party and needed a Christmas card - quick, quick quick!  I was almost in a panic - but then I remembered that I had some left over components from Blueprints 4.  I keep all my left over components in a zip lock bag which makes it easy to make a quick card.

I stamped the Merry Christmas from Christmas Joy by Sweet 'n Sassy and heat embossed with Sparkle 'n Sprinkle White Detail Embossing Powder then rounded the corners of the red card stock with the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. The pretty paper is from Believe by Authentique.   I have to say because the components were already cut out, this was one of the fastest cards I've ever made -- and I even made it to the party on time.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a happy stamping day.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas Day!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...

Perfect Refreshment

Here at the CCNS blog, our design team is a close knit family of wonderful crafters. Life gets in the way at times, and we have to say good bye to one of our family.

Jenny has made the decision to leave and spend more time with her family. We always say...family comes first. We wish Jenny all the best in everything the future holds for her and her family. Jenny, from our hearts to you, we will miss your witty emails, your funny stories, and most of all, YOU.

Love and hugs,
Diana, Diane, Joy, Mindy, Shirley
Debbie, Millicent and Beverly

Hello friends! It's Jenny posting today. Unfortunately, my non-crafting world is infringing on my time lately, and I need to scale back a little on crafting.

I'm sad to say this is my last post for the Classy Cards 'n Such blog. It's been a wonderful experience working with such an amazingly talented and supportive design team. I will miss them all greatly and I know I'll be stopping by the blog daily for new wonderful and surprising inspiration. I hope you'll join me!

I started this card by playing with my new Memory Box Distressed Addington Collage die. The card just evolved. I first cut a piece of Authentique Favorite paper with the Memory Box Distressed Addington die. This Favorite paper is so soft looking, and looking at it just made me feel relaxed. I used the die to cut the paper twice, once in the lower right corner and once in the top left.  I tried to layer this on top of an A2 white card but there wasn't enough contrast so I glued it onto Kraft paper instead. The Kraft panel was then adhered to the card front with Joy Large Foam Pads.

I cut the Memory Box Quinn Flourish circle and colored it with distress ink. The nest and bird were cut using the Memory Box Meadowbird Branch dies. There's such a nice assortment of foliage in this set. The Quinn Flourish was also adhered with Joy Large Foam Pads for additional dimension.

Last I stamped the Impression Obsession Sit in the Shade quote on the front of the card.

Thanks so much for joining me today, and for being such wonderful blog followers!  Don't forget to join in Classy Cards 'n Such's challenges for new chances weekly to win a wonderful prize or badge for your blog.  Hugs!

Loads of Fun

Hi, Diane with you today! It's hard to believe that Fall is almost here...time to start thinking about making a few Fall cards. With all the dies available, it couldn't be any easier!

I started my card with a cream card base, topped with paper from the Authentique Collection called Faith. I stitched it onto my card base for a bit of a frame.

I cut three trees using Impression Obsession Fir Trees.
The Impression Obsession Truck, I wanted a metallic look, so I used Echo Bronze Stardream Metallic for the truck, Champaign Neenah Pearlized Metallic for the truck rails, and Pluto Onyx Stardream Metallic for the tires. Silver Rhinestones were used for the hubcaps.

The pumpkins were so fun! I used Impression Obsession Pumpkin Patch die, which cuts several at one time in various sizes and shapes. The pumpkins were cut from Mandarin Curious Metallic.

I added a stamped sentiment from Flourishes.

The tree, truck and pumpkins were all popped up with Joy! Crafts Small Foam Pads. A little tip in using the foam pop ups, is to use a marker the color of what you are popping up on the foam pad sides, as then it will not be noticeable on the card!

Thank you for visiting with me today!!
