A Birthday Mouse

This is one of Linda's latest creations!   Here's what she says about him...

This little mouse is the cutest little fellow.  The stamp is a Tina Wenke by Stampavie called appropriately "Mouse Carrying Cake", which I colored with my Prismacolor markers.  He was cut out with the Large Deckled Rectangles by Spellbinders and layered that on the large Lattice Rectangles die cut.

I added pearls from the Want2Scrap Eggplant Lattice Rectangles Nestabling and used foam dots to pop him up and add dimension to the front of the card.  The "Happy Birthday" is an outline sticker.  These stickers are really easy to use and I think really add alot to a card. It is layered on a Spellbinders Fancy Tag

All the paper used on this card was from my stash.

Linda
I just love this little guy!   Thanks, Linda!!!

Hello everyone,

It's Jennipher and I'm back with a fall card to share with you today. I'm certain that many of you are already off to a great start on your fall cards. But for those of you that are looking for a quick elegant design, that is what I have to share.

Blessings...Count Yourshttp://jennipherlowery.com
I started my card with a base of Stampin' Up!® cardstock. To that I added some of the WonderFALL designer paper by Webster's Pages. I chose this particular pattern because the sentiment "Blessings Count Yours" was built right into the pattern.

I adhered a Sunflowers Silver outline sicker to a Lacy Oval die-cut piece of the burgundy side of the Plum Iridescent Specialty Paper. I layered that onto a larger Lacy Oval die cut.

For finishing touches, I added some Webster's Pages Whimsy Perfect Petals and  two lines of the Fine Border Thick Thin stickers in Silver.

If you haven't tried the outlines stickers yet, you should. They come in really handy for making quick classy cards and you can stock up on them by taking 10% off using my discount code: JENNIPHER-10. Beverly has a great selection in her store to choose from!

On a slightly different note, this was scheduled to be my last card for Classy Cards 'n Such but I'm excited to say that Beverly has extended an offer to me to stay on awhile longer and I'm truly honored to acccept and well, like my card says...It's a blessing and I'm counting it!

Looking forward to sharing more great products with you from Classy Cards 'n Such.

Until next time...

Thanks, Jennipher, for another great card!!!

It's been a really busy week for me and I'm trying to catch up!   Exciting things are in store for the blog and the shop, so please stay tuned!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Bird Sanctuary Birthday

I made this card for Mom's birthday last week. It's a little different than I usually make, Mom and I both liked it and I hope you do too!

I made the card base using Reich Shine Champagne specialty paper.   It's really beautiful and shimmery!  I used the Curious Translucents Plum Iridescent for the mat and embossed it with the Scrollworks Crafts Too! embossing folder.   I also cut the bird cage which is from the Spellbinders Bird Sanctuary set from the same paper and embossed it as well with Scrollworks.

One of the Mini Exotic Butterflies is cut from the same paper and the other from Stardream Chiara Coral.  Both of the butterfly bodies are embellished with Baby Pearls - White .  The bird cage is mounted onto Spellbinders Teardrop Circles also cut from Stardream Chiara Coral.   I finished it with a flower from the Ceylon Garden collection, Finesse Swirls - Brown Rhinestones, and added a strip of Butterfly Borders to the top and bottom.

For the inside of the card, I cut the bird from the Bird Sanctuary set from Curious Translucents Plum Iridescent and set him atop the Fancy Tag on which I used a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Birthday Rubz and embellished with Baby Pearls - White.  Foam dots are used to add dimension on both the front and inside of the card.

Italian Flourish Birthday

I finished this birthday card for a friend this morning.  I stamped the JustRite image on Champagne Reich Shine paper and cut the Italian Flourish (using the large Cuttlehug) from the same paper.   The other papers are from my stash.  The flowers are colored with Copics.  This was my first stickpin to make.  I don't know why I haven't made one before...so easy!

The Mini Exotic Butterfly's flight trail was made from a small piece of Finesse Swirls -White Pearls.  The bow is made from shimmery Sheer Asiana Light Pink ribbon.  The card is finished with Pink Pearls in opposite corners and a frame of silver lines.

O Christmas Tree

Here's another one of Jennipher's great Christmas cards!   Enjoy...

Hello Everyone,

It's Jennipher and I want to share with you my latest card made with fabulous products from Classy Cards 'n SuchI started my card by making the base with Stardream Emerald cardstock. This is a really beautiful and shimmery cardstock. It is so hard to describe the color and it's just so much more beautiful in real life. Next, I added various layers of patterned papers from the Collection Combo Pack - Waiting for Santa & Sweet Season  by Webster's Pages. Love, love this collection! You simply must buy it!

Using my Lacey Ovals  dies from Spellbinders, I cut out one large oval and one smaller one. For the larger one I usedCurious Translucents - Plum Iridescent specialty paper. This paper is so unique because it is a shimmery plum on the front and a matte burgundy on the back. I used the shimmery plum side. On the smaller oval I stamped a Christmas Tree Image from Verve Stamps.

Using a Fancy Tags die from Spellbinders I cut out a label to stamp my sentiment on. I added a line of rhinestones that are comparable to Want 2 Scrap's Purple Rhinestones.

I finished it off with a beautifully layered flower from Prima's Flowershop - De Soie Collection . I rarely make a card without a little distressing so, all the edges of the papers are inked with Black Soot Distress Ink from Tim Holtz.
Stop by Classy Cards 'n Such and grab up some of this wonderful products I've used today. I guarantee you'll love them! While there, be sure to use my discount code to take 10% off your order: JENNIPHER-10.

Birthday wishes

Linda made this beautiful card for my mom's birthday!  Mom loves it and I hope you do too!!

The base mat is Esse Smooth Pearlized White topped with a second mat of Stardream Chiara Coral.  Then she cut the French Pastry doily die as well as the center matted on the doily from the Dutch Scallop Square Frame from Esse Smooth Pearlized White and topped it with a Tea Rose.  While the Tea Rose set that Linda used is out of stock, we do have a set that will also match called Tea Rose Latte.  These flowers come accented with a smudge of glitter and shaved crystals.   Really pretty!!   And even better...all flowers are 15% off when you enter the promo code FLOWERS at check out!  Promo code expires 10/14/11.

The Fanciful Flourish is cut from Wausau Index Green cardstock.  The Mini Exotic butterflies are from Stardream Chiara Coral and accented with Baby White Pearls.  The Finesse Swirls - White Pearls add an elegant touch, don't you think?   Finally, Linda used Fancy Tags to add her Happy Birthday wish from the Inspirational Birthday Rubz and accented with Baby White Pearls

BTW - all Rubz are 15% off through October 31st when you use the promo code OCT15 at checkout!

O Tannenbaum

Pati has made a beautiful Christmas card with O Tannenbaum by Cheery Lynn Designs!   Here's what she has to say...

Time for another Christmas Card.  This one is for one of my favorite web stores, Classy Cards 'n Such. Give them a look, you'll be glad you did.

Merry Christmas

For this quick little folded step card, I used the Cheery Lynn O' Tannebaum Christmas Tree die as a focus, cut from white card stock. It is a beautifully detailed die that can be cut apart and used on other items. Leave it as is and each row pops out along the bottom while staying attached at the ends for a beautiful layered look. Did I mention that I really love this die? It is certainly one of my favorites.

The scroll along the bottom of the step card is Spellbinders Fanciful Holidays. Paper is from last year's Bo Bunny Christmas line. Green Rhinestones are by Want2Scrap. Ribbon from my stash.

If you have never made a step card, do try one. There are many different ways to shape them and they are so easy!  A Google search will bring up many sites with step by step directions.

Get busy on your Christmas cards now and you'll have more time for other great Christmas ideas come December.

Just a reminder...all orders containing only Cheery Lynn and Scor-Pal products are eligible for FREE SHIPPING when the order totals $50 or more.  Details at checkout.
Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...

Hedgehog in the Rain

Linda is sharing this really cute Hedgehog today.

I stamped the image "Hedgehog with Umbrella" by Tina Wenke with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Prismacolor Pencils. I then die cut the image with Spellbinders Lacey Ovals.  The purple card base is from DCWV and the Spellbinders Labels 18 was cut from paper in my collection.  I attached the Labels 18 with 1/4" Scor-Tape and added the Lacey Ovals using foam dots to add dimension.

I used a Labels 11 to hold my sentiment "Thinking of  You" from Art Impressions which was stamped with Memento Grape Jelly.  The pearls are e. Pearls and Crystals from Prima.  I added the bow which was made using the Bow- Easy.

Dots and Lace

Here's a birthday card I made recently.   I used the new Stardream Ruby for the center piece of the mat.   Although this is called Ruby, it is really a very beautiful purple with a gorgeous sheen!   This cardstock and all other papers are 20% off October 1-2 only.   Details here

I embossed the Ruby cardstock with the Dots embossing folder by Crafts Too!   The Dots folder has an advantage over other similar folders in that it is bigger -5" x 5".   So if you want to use it on a larger card, it covers more real estate than some other brands. The pink side pieces are from my stash as is the floral border.

The Assorted Lines are great to frame the card!   I used lace from my stash down the center and cut a Fanciful Flourish from Stardream Emerald to place behind the flower from the Ceylon Garden set.

Dots and Lace

Very easy to make!  Try it, won't you?
