I was contemplating what type of card I wanted to make, and found this rectangle of heavy chipboard in my stash of supplies from my early scrapbooking days. (I have so many filed away for safekeeping!)
I started this card by stamping the Mums, from
JustRite Stamps, on my chip board rectangle, and then colored it
in with my Tim Holtz Distressed markers. The rectangle needed a little
more zip and pizzaz, so I die cut two strips of the Woodland Border die, from
PoppyStamps, and adhered one to each side of the chip board rectangle.
Before adding the rectangle to the card front, I wrapped a length of crinkle Ribbon around the card base, then tied a double loop bow to adhere to the side. CCNS carries Seam Binding that would work great for ribbon or making bows out of it. You can color it to match your project.

To complete my card, I added a few Cherry Chocolate Dew Drops on the corners for a little more texture, and layer of
interest. I also stamped one of the sentiments from the Mums Stamp Set
to the image.
