Love Bird

Hello everyone! It's Shirley today! It is hard to believe that Valentine's Day is almost here. I have been busy trying to get a few cards made to send although I do not send many of them any more.

The Valentine card I have to show you today is made with foil and I have to apologize for the photo.  I need lessons on photographing shiny foils.

I started out with a white Easel card base.  I layered the top part of it with some Valentine Damask designer paper that I had in my stash. I used the Spellbinders Floral Oval Die to cut my pretty oval frame. I used a plain oval die to cut out the center of the Floral Oval. I used Joy Small Foam Pads behind my floral oval to pop it up on the designer paper.

I used the red  in the Foil Paper - Textured Patterns 1 to cut my birdhouse using the Cottage Cutz Fancy Ornate Birdcage die. I attached it  to the oval with Art Institute Clear Adhesive.

I used letter punches to punch the Love You Letters from the red Foil Paper. Next I used the Memory Box Precious Hearts die to cut my hanging hearts. The hearts and letters were attached with the Art Institute Clear Adhesive, as well.

On the bottom of the easel, I used red Foil Paper - Textured Patterns 1. Using a small hand punch, to punch some white hearts and glued on each side of the foil. Add the Spellbinders Fancy Label Tags One, with white card stock, to cut the label that is attached between the white hearts. I used the Our Daily Bread Ornate Frame Sentiments to stamp on the bottom part of my card. I punched a couple of red hearts to decorate the label.

To finish my card, I added White Pearls to decorate the hearts and the birdcage.
