Rustic and Snowy Tree

Hi Classy friends!  It's Holly posting today.  Time for another Christmas card for my stash, and I've gone rustic and snowy with my card today.

This Frosted Christmas Tree die is really cool.  I cut out the tree with white cardstock and then I left the paper in the die.  There are holes cut into the die so you can sponge or spray some color over the die cut, so I sponged some dark green ink over the holes.  When you take the paper out, it looks like a snow covered pine tree!

I pulled out some papers from the Holly Bright paper pad, and adhered them to a burgundy mat. I stamped the sentiment from Impression Obsession Christmas Sentiments in the top right corner, and then I adhered the background to a Kraft card base.

Some linen thread was wrapped around the middle of the card and then I adhered the Frosted Christmas Tree with some Large Joy Foam Pads.

This card is going to be perfect to pop in the mail because there are no bulky embellishments that would cause the envelope to tear.  I hope you are inspired to make a Christmas card or two for your own stash today!
