A Blue Bird Melody

Shirley posting today, with a card I made for challenge #49. We are to pick a pattern of stripes, dots, chevrons or use all three.

I chose to use striped paper for my card from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea collection. I started my card by cutting a square card base from blue paper. I added the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea  striped paper on top of it. I used a lacy tier die to cut the decorative blue square and the blue circle.

I stamped my image on white paper. The cute image is a Blossom Birds stamp by Penny Johnson. I colored it with markers and used a circle die to cut it out.

I mounted my layers to the card base.  I cut a bow using a Sue Wilson Finishing Touches - Filigree 3D Itty Bitty Bow die. I adhered it to the card with glue. I added decorative Silver Rhinestones to complete my card.

We hope you will find time to join us for the challenge. We love seeing your cards.

Thank you for taking a look at my card today.

These sweet bluebirds nestled in the flowered branch, are just so sweet. The color combo of the blue and green is rounded out beautifully with the yellow blooms, and the dies, especially the one for the bow, are gorgeous!! Great card, Shirley!
