A Simple Hello

Hi Classy Friends, Diane here with you today with a card for our weekly challenge, "Sometimes it's okay to be Negative, meaning to use a negative of a die cut. Now, how simply FUN is that?

When I cut a die, I always look at the negative to see if it could be used. The negatives are so pretty with background paper behind them, which is what I did for this card.

I have a love for leaf and branch dies, and these are perfect for negatives. I used a cream panel and cut two of the  five leaves from the Impression Obsession Leaves set. I used scrap pieces from Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6 x 6 paper padto put under my negatives.

I didn't stop there though, I cut the same two leaves from the smaller set of Impression Obsession Small Leaf set. These are the identical leaves of the larger ones, but just in a smaller size...aren't they just the cutest? I popped them on top of the larger leaves with Small Joy! Foam Padsgiving a nice 3D look!

I finished off my panel with a pretty ribbon from my stash and tied a fishtail banner on, with Doodle Twine Bright Assortment, that has been stamped with a sentiment from the JustRite Hello Daisy stamp set.My panel was then mounted onto my card stock using  Scor-tape 1/4".

See how easy it is to use a negative?  I invite YOU to join the rest of the Design Team in our Negative challenge. You could be our next winner!
