I have made an unusual card to share with you today. This is the first orange and purple Christmas card I have ever made, but I must say I like it. Okay, what do you think?
I started with a white card base. I cut a piece of white and used Ken Oliver Color Bursts in Orange, Ultramarine Blue and Violet for the next layer. The color bursts are really easy to use. I just sprinkle and spritz. There are many tutorials on You Tube that will show you step by step how to use them.
I then cut a top layer and used the Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders One to cut the open space so the color burst would show.

I used the Memory Box Lydia Ornament die with white card stock and placed a piece of the Color Burst paper that I had left over to layer behind the ornament. I cut a piece of silver card stock to make the hanger for the ornament. Next I used some orange ribbon for the bow.
I used the Impression Obsession Christmas Sentiments and chose the Season's Greetings stamp to use on the bottom of my card. I used Silver Detail embossing powder to emboss the sentiment.

Wow, such a totally different look with these colors, but it kind of looks the way a brightly lit tree would look, when viewing it "out of focus" - I LIKE IT TOO!! Very cool!! That is certainly a neat way to change up a card and give it new insight!
Gorgeous and elegant - love the bursts of colors.
