Hi,
there! Diana here to share with you a card I made for this week's
Cloudy Day Inspiration Challenge. This is actually the third card I
made with clouds - I'll share the others later. It was hard to get
started but once I did, I guess it was hard to stop!
I first started with Poppystamps Grand Madison Window.
I have a tendency to always use this die on white card stock because
all my windows in my house have been made with white trim... as they are
in most homes. There are some with beautiful natural wood color -
not my style for home decor but I enjoy seeing it in others. :) So I
was inspired to stain mine using Walnut Stain distress marker.
I made a scene using Impression Obsession Mini Nautical Set, ODBD Clouds and Raindrops Die Set, and Impression Obsession Grass Border die. The clouds and water were masked and sponged using Peacock Feathers and Broken China.
I also used some Clear Embossing powder with
a net background stamp from ODBD and then sponged the same colors over
it. I ripped off a strip and then added some of the other elements from
the Mini Nautical Set as well as some Clear Dew Droplets.
Hope you like it and can play along ... several times! :)
