Mindy with you today sharing a bright and cheery holiday card that is so much fun to make. One of our challenges recently was to use bright colors for Christmas, instead of the traditional colors used. I had some bits and pieces left from that card, so I made another with a wreath on it this time.
I started with a rectangle of Kraft colored card stock as my background, and ran the Foundry border embossing strip by Anna Griffin, across it diagonally, top and bottom. I then used a small ink pad to shade around the edge of the card to give it a bit of dimension. I then used the Twig Wreath die from Impression Obsession, cut from white card stock, for the base of my wreath.
Decorations for the wreath were cut from bright colored card stock and the following dies:
Cheerful Stockings by Memory Box
Small Snowflakes by Impression Obsession
Filigree 3D Itty Bitty Bows by Sue Wilson
A 5/8" circle punch
I assorted the colors in a pleasing fashion and adhered them to the wreath with Art Institute Clear Adhesive, and then attached the wreath with Large Foam Pads by Joy! Crafts to the center of the card.
I die cut the sentiment and added a few Silver Rhinestones for sparkle.
Thank you for visiting today!
Thanks for stopping by!!! Until next time...
