God Is

Hello! Shirley, posting today.  I wanted to bring you a card today that was inspirational, but not a Christmas card.

I am using a cute stamp set by Sweet N Sassy Stamps called God Is.  I haven't had much time to play with this set, so I thought this would be a good time to do so.

I started out using a light blue card stock base and layered it with a black layer of card stock.  I used the Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight with blue card stock to cute the filigree panel. These pieces were attached to the card base.  I used the Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals Large to cut the black scalloped oval.

Next I stamped the God Is image  and sentiment with black ink on white card stock. I used an oval die to cut the image out.  I used light blue ink and a cloud template to sponge in the pretty clouds. *Note - there are quite a few plain cloud templates in the Classy Cards n Such store, so they are included in the supply list below.

I used olive green ink to sponge some greenery in the lower part of the image. I used a stamp in my collection to stamp some little flowers over the greenery. I attached the image to the black scalloped oval and attached it to the card with Small Joy Foam Pads.

I used Silver Rhinestones to gussy up the A2 Filigree Delight panel. I used black sheer ribbon to make the pretty bow with my Bow Easy.  I have used a Bow Easy for many years because I am terrible at tying bows. It makes perfect bows. It comes with instructions, but there are videos on line that helped me to learn to use mine.  I am not "a follow the directions" type of person.  ~smile~  For the final touch, I added a Silver Rhinestone to the black bow.

I hope you liked my card and I appreciate your coming by everyday to see the cards we have prepared for you. Come back tomorrow for more creativity from the Classy Cards N Such design team.

Don't forget to check out the amazing sale posted this morning. Each day's sale is only good from midnight to midnight each day.

Thanks for stopping by!!! Until next time...

Love the image, but the sentiment went straight to my heart - the framing die is gorgeous too!
