Get Well Soon

Hi, it is Shirley posting today. I have made a "Get Well Soon" card to share with you. I have a friend who had surgery, so this card will be sent to my friend.

I started out using a white card base. I used a corner rounder to round the corners. I used the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Mystical Embrace die with blue card stock. I like this frame, it always give a card an elegant look.

Next I used black card stock with the Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence die, to layer over the top of the mystical embrace die cut. The two center pieces were made using the Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight die set. I really liked how all of these dies looked together. I sponged blue around the white die cut and stamped the sentiment with black ink.

I used Art Institute Clear Adhesive to adhere the die cuts to my card base. White pearls were chosen as the finishing touch.

Thank you for coming by to take a look at my card.

I love when you take a nice bright color like blue and make it pop with a black layer and the perfect sentiment!! This card looks terrific with that filagree die!! Super combination of colors, some light sponging, and the right mix of dies!!
