By The Sea

Hi, it is Shirley posting today! The challenge for Classy Cards 'n Such is to make a beach scene. There is an inspiration picture to go along with the beach theme.

I am going to give you a link for our Challenge Calendar so you can see the inspiration pictures for this challenge, and all of the challenges for the rest of July to August.

I started my card by cutting a navy blue frame using the Spellbinders Mystical Embrace 5 X 7 frame die.  This is really a classy looking frame.

I used red and navy card stock to cut the layering pieces using the Spellbinders Radiant Rectangle dies. This set has seven dies in it, with rectangle and oval dies to make some great layouts.

The lighthouse image I used is from the Graphic 45 By The Sea paper pad. The shells were also cut from this pad. I used Joy Small Foam Pads to pop the shells up on my card.

I used star punches to cut the stars that I placed in the corners. I adhered them to the card using Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive. *NEW Memory Box Over the Moon and Stars is now in the store. Click on icon below in the supply list.*

I hope you enjoyed seeing my beach card. Don't forget to make your beach card and upload it to our challenge. The winner will win a neat prize. We can't wait to see your beach card.

There are new dies, embossing, and more that are being added to the store. New release items from  Memory Box, Sue Wilson, PoppyStamps and more are being added. Check out the NEW section today!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Until next time...

Wow, Shirley, not enough that you work these By the Sea DPs to the n-th degree, but now you have your cards sporting this neat, new Mythical Embrace die to REALLY make your card SHINE!! What class this die gives to the already amazing front on your card, along with the stamps, stars and shells you embellished with -WOW AGAIN!!
