Angel Corner Butterfly

It is Shirley posting today. I am going to show you the card I made for the #92 Splatters challenge for this week.

I used red, black, yellow, and white card stock. The splatter background was made using white card stock. I used the Memory Box Texture Drip Rings stencil, and red acrylic paint. Next I used a paint splatter stencil, and sponged it with yellow acrylic paint. I sponged on dabs of blue, orange, green and red paint.

The frames were made using the Impression Obsession 6-in-1 Rectangle, using red, black and yellow card stock. The sentiment is from the Impression Obsession Anytime Sentiments. I used a black marker to go around the yellow card stock.

The butterfly was made using the PoppyStamps Angel Corner. I looked at the the die one day, and decided it would make a very pretty butterfly, so I decided to give it a try. I was pleased with the way it looked. Next I cut four corners with this die from black card stock. I glued them together, and layered them to make the butterfly fuller.

For the finishing touch, I added Silver Rhinestones and Black Rhinestones to the butterfly.

Thank you for coming by to take a look at my card today.

Wow - your card is gorgeous, elegant - yet bright and happy too. The butterfly is really lovely and love the background with its splats of color.
