Daisy on White

Judy has received her blog candy so now I can show you what was in her mystery gift!  Don't forget to keep commenting on the blog posts as we may have an unannounced blog candy at any time!

Embossing folders are 15% off this week!  There are ten beautiful designs from which to choose.  See them all here!

The CNNS Guest Design Team call closes on July 17th!   We've had some wonderful applications but would love to see more!   Details are here at http://scrapbookcalls.typepad.com

Here are a couple of cards I made recently.  I love white cards and multiple layers on cards and don't do them nearly often enough!  While this card has a number of layers, it was not at all hard to make!  Do you like layered cards too?   Add your layered cards to Mr. Linky below by next Friday and we'll choose two or three to highlight on a blog post in the near future!

This card was so easy to make!  The details in the butterfly design are perforated and had to be punched out.   Then I placed the sticker onto the Foil Paper Textured Patterns 1 paper and cut out around it.  I bent the butterfly wings up to give it some dimension and then adhered the butterfly body to the cardstock with a dab of glue and placed tiny pieces of foam dots behind the wings.  A small piece of Finesse swirls - White Pearls was used for the butterfly's flight path and three White Pearls Baby Bling down the body of the butterfly.

The inside sentiment (not shown) reads A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature - Ralph Waldo Emerson
