CCNS Challenge #19 - Sketch Challenge

Welcome to Classy Cards 'n Such Sketch Challenge - #19.

This week we are challenging you to use this sketch

designed by our own DT member Jennipher Lowery!

Make a paper crafting project  using the sketch shown

and of course a product sold at Classy Cards 'n Such!

That's it!  Very simple, but please read the requirements below.  We're looking forward to your entries!!

We have a few requirements to play:

1.  Make a classy card, tag, or other paper crafting project that with DT member Jenn's sketch shown above.  

2.  Theme must be followed.

3.  The project must contain at least one item currently sold in the Classy Cards'n Such online shop. The item used must clearly be listed in the blog or gallery post.

4.   Must be a follower of the CCNS blog either by email or reader and/or be a CCNS newsletter subscriber. 

• If your email address is not visible on your blog or gallery, you must email it to me before the challenge closes with the number of your entry. 
•  If you are a follower via a reader, you must send an email to  beverly@classycardsnsuch.com with the name used in the reader. 
• If you aren't a follower or newsletter subscriber, please sign up now!

5.   Direct link your entry post (not blog), to the InLinkz tool below.

6.   If using a gallery, such as Splitcoast Stampers, use code CCNS19.

7.   Only new entries please.  No back posting allowed.  Our challenges run Monday through Saturday.  If your project is created during that week, it qualifies. Please don't back link a project made prior to this week's challenge.  Thank you!

8.   Please enter in no more then 3 challenges (including this one). Three entries per challenge are allowed.

9.   New challenges begin on Mondays and end on Saturdays at midnight central time.  Winners are announced on Sundays.

10. CCNS has the right to remove any entries not following the guidelines and/or entries deemed inappropriate.

11. Most of all, have FUN!!!

The Prize:

1.   Due to increasing costs for international shipping, we can only ship prizes to US addresses at this time.

2.   A prize will be offered to the winner based on merit. Occasionally, a guest designer spot may be offered!

3.  A Classiest Card badge may be awarded when entries are exceptionally good.

4.  Winner must claim their prize by Wednesday of each week or the prize will be forfeited.

Hi!  Joy here, posting a thanks card using products from Classy Cards 'n Such.

I'm still writing a few thank you notes for goodies sent to me at Christmas.  

Here is one that uses some scraps of my favorite 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad called The Lake House 6.5" x 6.5" paper pad by Kaisercraft.

The filigree corner is from Decorative Blossom Corner by Heartfelt Creations. This is the smaller one in the set.

The sentiment is from an Impressive Obsession stamp set called Thanks Sentiments.

This was an easy card to put together.  I cut strips of paper measuring about 1 inch, lined them up, making sure that my sentiment would be on one with a light background.

Cutting the filigree corner was so easy when wax paper was put between the paper and the die before running thru my Vagabond. These were placed on a black mat and then placed on my folded white cardstock.

Creamy Goodness

Hello Friends! Diane here with you today on the Classy Cards 'n Such blog.

Today I have a gorgeous card showing you how well all the dies from various companies work together.

I started my card base by cutting a frame from Marianne Creatable Die Anja's Large Oval. I scored my cardstock, folded it in half, and overlapped the die, so as not to cut

entirely through the fold side, allowing the card to be one piece.  I cut a second single Large Oval and covered the card front with it, giving me a complete die cut. It's a wonderful and easy way to create a shaped card!

Using another die from the same set of Marianne Creatable Die Anja's Large Oval, I made the next, intricate, beautiful layer, which has been slightly popped up using Joy! Foam pads small.

The next layer was created using the Cheery Lynn Designs Lattice Hearts and Vines die. It too, was popped up by cutting the small Joy! Foam pads  in half.  On top of the heart, I placed the word Love.

To finish my card, I added three rolled roses using a Memory Box Pinwheel Posie die. I added a bit of Mercury Glass Stickles to my flower petals.

I think this would be a beautiful card for an anniversary, wedding, or Valentine's Day!!

Blooms of Pink

Hi, it's Misti today!

I want to share with you the card that I made for Classy Cards 'n Such Think Pink Challenge. 

For my card today, I stamped the main flower image from Always Blooming stamp set from Flourishes. I colored in the image with Worn Lipstick and Peeled Paint Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers and the Tim Holtz Water Brush. I set it aside to dry.

I grabbed the  Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6" x 6" paper pad and used the small pink floral paper for the background.  I found a green cardstock in my scrapbox that matched the peeled paint marker.

I used some White Cluny lace in between the background paper panels and the image panels.

Once I taped down the image panel, I used some Buttercup from the Twinkling H2O's - Springtime on the center of the flowers. I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture, but in real life, it adds a nice shimmer to the card.

A few Baby White Pearls in opposite corners finished this off.
