Hi everyone! It's Jennipher here, for Classy Cards 'n Such. Today I am sharing a Christmas card with you that is made with just gorgeous patterned paper and cardstock. I know you don't want to think about Christmas, but before you know it, it will be upon us and if you're like me, I like for each card I send out to be unique.
Today's card is all about letting the gorgeous patterned paper and cardstock do the work for you! I love to stamp but there are times when I don't feel like coloring in the images and I just want to make a card that focuses on the sentiment. With a lot of the gorgeous patterned papers out there on the market from Webster's Pages and Prima, etc. you really don't need a stamped image to tell your story because the paper does it for you.
On this card, I have used the Waiting for Santa/Sweet Season collection from Webster's Pages. This is a wonderful collection with lots of potential for Christmas or everyday cards. Those blue pine trees clearly "scream" snow and on the backside is a wonderful snowflake pattern. So, really all I needed was a sentiment and a few embellishments to make this card complete. The snowflakes were punched from the Stardream Fuse Vista cardstock using a Martha Stewart Crafts snowflake punch. I added a bit of bling to them because snowflakes really do sparkle and wha-laa...the card was complete. Give it a try... let the patterned paper do the work for you!
