Smiles Bless Others

Hi, Joy today! I could not have made this card without my favorite Classy Cards 'n Such supplies.  Each one of these elements is my favorite. Haha - I say that about a lot of the supplies I get from them!

The large background die is really, really one of my favorites.  It is an Anna Griffin die, so easy to use and you can get stunning results from them. This one is called  Flourish Medallion, cut out using paper from The Lake House 6x6 paper pad by KaiserCraft.

I stamped the sentiment, small butterfly and the sentiment frame from JustRite Black Eye Susan Vintage Labels Five stamp set, and cut it out with the JustRite Vintage Labels Five Die.

The Large Butterfly is from B Line Designs. I embossed the background card stock with Dots by Crafts Too. After a quick shading, the two butterflies were cut out and popped up with Small Joy Foam Pads.

As you smile today, remember you are blessing someone.

Thank you for looking at my card. Have a HAPPY stamping day!

Tomorrow starts a new challenge here at Classy Cards 'n Such. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the challenge is Think Pink! Join us, won't you? Invite your friends to play along! The more the merrier!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Until next time...

Set Sail

Mindy here today! Warm days around water always makes it feel cooler. I love to spend time at the coast, or at the lake enjoying the slapping of the waves, and the breeze blowing off the water. So, if only in your mind, today let's set sail!

I started this card with the  Sunburst - Cover-A-Card background stamp, from Impression Obsession, stamped in Pear Tart Memento ink.

I then took the border strip page from the By the Sea paper pad by Graphic 45, and cut several strips and squares to layer on as embellishments, using Joy! Large Foam Pads to give dimension to the layers.

To finish off my card, I cut the Coastal Crab die, by Memory Box, three times and glued all three layers together with white glue. I also cut a Sailboat die, and added it between two of the layers.

Sailing is a sport that can be enjoyed any time of the year, but during the summer is much more relaxing and soothing to the soul. Enjoy!

We appreciate your sharing our cards and ideas on Facebook, Pinterest, Goggle+, Instagram...anywhere your crafty friends can be found. The icons below my signature make it easy to share.
