Praying For You

Hi, Joy today showing you how I met Classy Cards 'n Such Die Cuts Challenge - with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such.  I have a Cricut and a Silhouette, but rarely get them out because I love using my Vagabond for die cuts.

Here is my card

I cut two flower vine die cuts from Anna Griffin's Die called Flower Vine.  Both were sponged with pink and green ink.  The flowers were cut off one of the die cuts and layered on top of the other die cut with small Joy Foam Pads. This was glued onto the journal page shaped die from My Favorite Things Blueprints 4.

Tiny lace edges were cut from Allisons' Ribbons dies, to create the border.

The sentiment was stamped on one of the Blueprints 4 dies, matted on top of another rectangle die from this set, and popped up with large Joy Foam Pads. The sentiment stamp is from Inky Antics called Mighty Tower with the little flourish from the Spring Words stamp set.

The butterfly was hand cut from the Black-Eyed Susan Vintage Labels Five by JustRite, colored and attached
with small Joy Foam Pads.

Supplies list:

Flower Vine Die by Anna Griffin
Blueprints 4 Die by My Favorite Things
Mighty Tower stamp by Inky Antics
Spring Words stamp by JustRite Stamps

Here is a peek at how the layered flowers look close up.

The Joy Foam Pads comes in two sizes - I love the small ones because they fit onto tiny areas.

The Blueprints 4 die set has a great variety of dies (journal page, heart, lace, button, rectangles, star) - great bang for your money. The journal page die in the set is perfect if you do Simple Stories or Project Life Scrapbooking.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a HAPPY stamping day.

Your card is so pretty and everything just pops! Thanks Joy!

Teach A Dog New Tricks

Hello, Diane here with you today on the Classy Cards 'n Such blog.

I have a fun project to share with you I made for this weeks challenge, Die Cuts.

Speaking of challenges, why don't you join in, we would love to have you. You can always see our list of weekly challenges listed to the right!

Now onto today's project! Who said "You can't teach an old dog new tricks?" Well, that's what I did, I taught this dog just  how much fun it is to fly a kite...and his little "fluffy" buddy is waiting for his turn!

The card base is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square, the background is 5" x 5".

I cut a bit of whimsical polka dot grass using the Impression Obsession Grass die.

The clouds were cut using Puffy Clouds die by Memory Box.

The fun Kite die cut set is also from Impression Obsession. It comes with with a smaller kite die as well as  few other cutting options.

I added some flocking for a bit of a fur look to the little white dog. The larger dog and the smaller dog  are from the Impression Obsession Dog set. I sponged Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads on the dog for a bit of golden color.

Additional items used in the making of this card are:
Quickie Glue Pen by Sakura
Joy! Foam Pads Small

That's it for me today! I hope you enjoyed my card, and I look forward to seeing your entries!

What a fun card! Thanks Diane!

Campion Red Rose

Hi, it's Misti today!

There is a new line of stamps, B Line Designs, now being carried in Beverly's online store at Classy Cards 'n Such.

The new stamps by B Line Designs look great colored in or with the ink directly onto the stamp. They are nice! The one I used today is called Campion Rose.

For my card today, I used three different Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers, and colored them directly onto the stamp. I used Peeled Paint for the leaves, Festive Berries for the flowers, and Frayed Burlap for the words.

One of the papers in the Key to My Heart 12 x 12 designer paper matched the flowers really well and it had kind of a rustic or shabby chic kind of look to it. I decided to pair it up with Kraft cardstock.

The scallops from Blueprints 3 by My Favorite Things, made a great edge on both sides of the image panel.

I'm adopting the motto that a flower a day keeps the cold weather away!

Love how your card turned out! Thanks Misti!
