Hi Joy today, showing you a card I made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such. By now everyone knows how much I love the papers from Lake House by
Kaisercraft.
I've had a hard time throwing away all of the little
scraps of this paper. But today I laid them out and made two cards.
Here are the scraps:
Here is one card
I
cut some of the scraps into triangles and glued 8 of them down on a
piece of card stock, then die cut a Spellbinders heart from the grouping. I also die cut a large Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Hearts from some of the pink paper from the collection, and die cut the small heart from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 4 die set. The green card base was also cut from the Blueprints 4 set.
I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment from JustRite's Hugs and Kisses Sentiments stamp set. I used Versamark and heat embossed it using Sparkle 'n Sprinkle's White Detail embossing powder.
I added a little scallop die to the right hand edge that was punched out from the Lake House papers. There are quite a few small paper embellishments and tags in this pad of paper. The heart was popped up with Joy Foam Pads.
Thanks for looking at my "scrappy" card. Watch for the next one. Have a HAPPY stamping day.

Your Special Day
Hi, it's Holly posting today. Do you need an elegant birthday card for a special person? This card might fit the bill.
The papers in the Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove paper pad are very elegant and rich and sophisticated, and they inspired me to create this quiet and understated, yet elegant card. I adhered the green damask paper from the Magnolia Grove paper pad to some cream card stock and then I adhered these to a dark brown card base. The beautiful banner sentiment from the Botanical Medallions and Banners set, (JustRite), was stamped at the top of the green damask paper.
Next, I die cut the scallop border from the Blueprints 4 die set from some cream card stock and adhered it towards the bottom of the card. The richly colored polka dot paper, also from the Magnolia Grove paper pad, was cut from the rounded rectangle die found in the Blueprints 6 die set and then adhered right above the scallop border.
Instead of a bunch of flowers or other busy designs, I opted for a simple and gorgeous die cut of the Quinn Flourish die cut from dark brown card stock. I couldn't bear to cover up this gorgeous die cut, so I threaded a tiny strip of the dark brown card stock through an ivory button and adhered the button the center of the Quinn Flourish die cut. I adhered the die cut to the center of the polka dot rectangle.

Birthday Wishes
Hello, it's Jenny posting today. I created this card because I was
inspired by some cards I found on Pinterest. It's such a fun site and
Classy Cards 'n Such has it's own Pinterest boards. Come and check us
out HERE!
The pink flowers were cut using the Spellbinders Rose Creations die, but you could get a similar look using the gorgeous new Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms die, Classy Cards now has in stock. The flowers were cut from white card stock. The edges were colored with pink distress ink and misted with Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist. While still damp, I piled the flower layers together and then scrunched them up being careful not to break the petals. Scrunching gives them a more tattered, vintage feel. I waited until they dried and then glued the layers together. I used about four flower petals pieces per flower. They were popped up using Joy! Foam pads for extra dimension.
The Bamboo Shoots were cut out of Wausau Index Green Card Stock and colored with peeled paint distress ink. The Joy Crafts! Bille's Branches were cut from white card stock and colored with Shaded Lilac distress ink.
The Birthday Wishes sentiment dies are from an Impression Obsession word set. You could use the Impression Obsession Greeting Set which also has the Birthday Wishes sentiment and more! The entire panel was then glued to a piece of Kraft card stock and then mounted onto a white card.
I sponged pink distress ink on the Memory Box Whimsy Circle, and antique linen distress ink on the Memory Box Quinn Flourish die cut, and glued them to the card before positioning and gluing the flowers, Bille's Flourish Branch and Bamboo Shoots die cuts.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

The
only stamp I used on this card was the Impression Obsession Wooden
Plank Cover-A-Card. I stamped it using vintage photo distress ink and then sponged
weathered wood distress ink over the entire background. The entire
panel was glued to a piece of Kraft card stock and then mounted onto a
white card.
The Memory Box Trellis Border die was also colored with antique linen and gray distress inks.

Summer Daydreams
Hello, it's Mindy today, longing to walk along the beach with sand
between my toes and feeling the warm sun shining down on my shoulders.
During the long hot days of summer, I find myself daydreaming about the beach. Remembering these, led me to this scene I dream about being outside my window.
I stamped the By The Window Series- Summer stamp from Stacy Stamps on watercolor paper, and colored it in using my Distress Markers as watercolors. Watercolor with Distress Markers is so easy, you just scribble some of the marker on a non-porous surface such as a clear stamping block or silicone mat, and then adding a bit of water with a small paintbrush. I painted the design in several steps, letting it air dry completely between colors.
When the painting was dry, I adhered it to a card stock base to flatten it a bit. For the curtains, I die cut and folded several pieces of Heavy Weight Vellum available in the Classy Cards 'n Such online store, with a border die and adhered them to the top and sides of the card. For accent I added some Baby Pearls to the curtain and a length of matching twine tied around the card in a bow.
To finish off, I stamped the saying from Art Impressions, I thought of you today, on a scrap of the Vellum, and used Joy! foam pads to attach it to the card front.
I hope you are enjoying your summer, by staying cool and comfortable. Stamp On!

Rustic and Snowy Tree
Hi Classy friends! It's Holly posting today. Time for another
Christmas card for my stash, and I've gone rustic and snowy with my card
today.
This Frosted Christmas Tree die is really cool. I cut out the tree with white cardstock and then I left the paper in the die. There are holes cut into the die so you can sponge or spray some color over the die cut, so I sponged some dark green ink over the holes. When you take the paper out, it looks like a snow covered pine tree!
I pulled out some papers from the Holly Bright paper pad, and adhered them to a burgundy mat. I stamped the sentiment from Impression Obsession Christmas Sentiments in the top right corner, and then I adhered the background to a Kraft card base.
Some linen thread was wrapped around the middle of the card and then I adhered the Frosted Christmas Tree with some Large Joy Foam Pads.
This card is going to be perfect to pop in the mail because there are no bulky embellishments that would cause the envelope to tear. I hope you are inspired to make a Christmas card or two for your own stash today!
