Love

Hi everyone!  Joy here today showing a card made with supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.  The pretty background script paper is from Key to My Heart 6.5" x 6.5" paper pad.

The sweet little love sentiment is from the Key to My Heart paper and is one of the many sentiment die cuts - there are 4 pages of them!  That's enough to make enough Valentine's for a whole classroom.  The sentiment die cut was popped up using Small Joy Pads.  The flowers were attached using Art Institute Clear Adhesive.  The heart background was sponged on using a Mini Ink Blending Tool.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a Happy Stamping Day.

Bright and Cheerful

Joy here with a project for the new Bright and Cheerful Challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such.  You can say that I got a little carried away with this.  I was having so much fun that I played into the early morning with this challenge.  I made a total of 12 envelopes and cards but will not bore you to tears by showing all of them.  Here are six:

These little envelopes are made with the Cottage Cutz  Lace Envelope Die.  I LOVE this die.  The papers are from Key to My HeartLady Rose,  and Story Teller by Kaisercraft,  Home Sweet Home, and Botanical Tea by Graphic 45 and Candy Cane Lane by Bo Bunny.  The really cute little cut-outs are all from the Die Cut Pages in the Kaisercraft papers and popped up with Joy Foam Pads.

Next to make were the cards to go inside each little envelope.

These sentiments are from Companion Words by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and Spring Words by JustRite.

Now it's time to join all the others in this challenge called Bright and Cheerful. First go to the Classy Cards 'n Such blog, get some inspiration from the Design Team members and make your project making sure it is Bright and Cheerful - be sure to look at the details on the blog and then link your project.  You could be the winner of a nice prize.

Birthday Wishes

Love and Best Wishes to you in this New Year! Mindy with you today, sharing a bright and cheerful card for that special birthday celebration.

I started my card by die cutting the medium balloon from the Balloons die cut set by Impression Obsession from thin craft foam, then adhering it to my clear stamping block.  I then inked it up, just like a rubber stamp, with a pale grey ink and stamped it on some white card stock. I then colored each one with my Copic markers and shaded each one with a darker color.  I then stamped the Flower Gift Boxes, also from Impression Obsession, and fussy cut the top box with bow to add beneath the balloon bouquet.

The background paper used on the card base, and Happy Birthday sentiment were both from the Say Aloha paper pad from Kaisercraft.   This card with the bright and cheerful colors of the balloons, could also be used as an entry in our weekly challenge on the Classy Cards 'n Such blog.  Our theme this week is making a card with Bright and Cheerful colors. Hope to see your entry soon.

Little Butterflies

The theme this week for our challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such is using Bright and Cheerful Colors. Mindy here with a card where the bright colors inspired me to feature butterflies in all the cheerful colors.

My card started with a colorful background paper from the Say Aloha paper pad by Kaisercraft. This pad has so many beautiful papers to choose from, and also has coordinating tags and sentiment strips to use on your cards. I chose the coordinating tag for the focal image, and mounted it on a die cut from my Spellbinders stash. Then, from card stock scraps, I die cut Medium Butterflies from Impression Obsession in all the bright colors and adhered them to the card base with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.  I then added a tiny bit of glitter to each butterfly body to give the card a little sparkle.

As the card suggests, Enjoy the Little Things in life, no matter how small.  Have a great week, and join our challenge with a card that celebrates all the bright colors.

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Until next time...

A Little Birdie

Hi Friends!  Jenny here today, and I am sharing a paper pieced card I made, inspired by the current challenge #102 An Apple A Day.

I began by cutting a piece of the Enchanted Garden Paper, by Kaisercraft. This paper is just so lovely, I tend to hoard it. The pink and green papers were perfect for this challenge and needed to come out to play. I cut the pink paper using scalloped rectangle dies from my stash, and backed it with a piece of light blue card stock to mimic a blue sky.

I cut the main die, which is also from my stash, and colored it with Distress Ink. I then cut the die again, using a green patterned paper from the Enchanted Garden paper pad.  I cut out the leaves individually and glued them on top of the original die cut.

I sprayed the bird wings with Pearl Glimmer Mist before adhering them to the birds, so they have a little sparkle.  Last, I thought the tree needed a little extra pizzaz, so I turned it into an apple tree by adding apples from the Impression Obsession Bushel of Apples die, and Water Dew Drops for a little more dimension and interest.

Thanks for visIting and make sure to check out this week's challenge for a chance to win a great prize!

Summer Blooms

Hi, Diane with you today. It seems summer has almost slipped by. I am seeing lots of beautiful fall projects but I am resisting, as I am not quite ready to let go of summer!

The card I am showing you today has been made with a few new dies I recently purchased.

I started with a background paper from Kaisercraft Key To My Heart 12 x 12 paper pad.

I used Spellbinders Elegant Ovals for the placement of the flowers.

The flowers and the white branches/stems you see, are both from Sue Wilson Finishing Touches Cornflower.  The flowers were put together using the Paper Blossom Tool Kit, Paper Blossoms Craft Molding Mat, and Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive. Black Pearls were used for the flower centers. NOTE: If you ever see an item used and does not have a link in the supply list below, just send Beverly an email to beverly@classycardsnsuch.com, she can most likely order it for you!!

I tucked in a few greens using Spellbinders Romantic Vines. This is a beautiful new vine set!

The sentiment is from JustRite Hello Daisy stamp set,and was stamped on a die cut from the same Elegant Ovals set I mentioned above.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

If you are unable to find an item in the store, or would like something special ordered, please email me at beverly@classycardsnsuch.com.
