You're the Best

Good morning!  Joy here today showing you a card that I made this week using supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.

First was to emboss a piece of cardstock using the folder called Quilt Blocks by Darice.  Then I sponged on a little color using a Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool.  The stitched khaki color rectangle base was die cut using My Favorite Thing's Blueprints 13.  The sentiment  from Stampavie called Sweet Wishes was heat embossed using Sparkle 'n Sprinkle's Brown Fizz Embossing powder - it has a pretty sparkle and shine that I tried to capture with my camera.  The sentiment was popped up using Small Joy Foam Pads.   You might take the opportunity to check out the sale at the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.

Thanks for looking at my card.  Have a Happy Stamping day!

Ho Ho Sparkle

Good morning to you, Diane with you today on the blog.

I don't know about you, but it seems the holidays are certainly creeping up on us! From Thanksgiving on, I am super busy, and like to get my Christmas cards made way in advance if I can!

One of my newest dies purchased from the Classy Cards 'n Such online store, is one of the new Memory Box Distressed dies. This one is called Distressed Snowdrift Collage. Look at all the pretty and intricate details. A tiny White Pearl was added to each full snowflake.

I stamped an image from Stampavie called Tobi's Dearest Deer, and colored it with my Tim Holtz Distressed Water Color Markers. A bit of Diamond Stickles was added to the image.

Once dry, I popped the image up using Joy! Large Foam Pads. To finish, I added a Ribbon, a tag tied with Doodle Twine from the Sweet Cakes Valentine Assortment, and a snowflake button that I topped with Silver Rock Candy.

Thank you for visiting with me today!

Sofia Stripes

Hi, it's Jenny here today with a card inspired by the #95 Colors and Patterns challenge. When I saw the inspiration photo, it reminded me of this adorable Stampavie Sofia Wishes stamp.

I stamped Sofia once on white card stock, and then a second time onto a piece of green patterned paper, from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper pack. This has become one of my go-to paper pads. I love the slightly muted colors and print patterns.

I colored her with alcohol ink markers, and then cut out her dress and glued it over her body. I was planning on paper piecing her apron also, but the bow was tricky to cut. So I ended up coloring in the apron with a yellow-orange marker.

I cut Sofia out with a Spellbinders Elegant Ovals die, and popped the oval up with Joy Crafts Large Foam Pads.

The green striped paper is also from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper pad.

To add a little interest I wrapped the card with twine from my stash and added adhesive Mother of Pearl Rhinestones.

Thanks for visiting, and make sure you join in this week's challenge for a chance to win a great prize!

Have a Happy Day

Good afternoon friends!  Joy, here today showing you a happy day card, with supplies I found at the Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

I love shaker cards - and I'm kinda stuck on making them.  Here is one I made for a friend.

The papers are from Graphic 45's Botanical Tea, and the yellow is from Secret Garden.

The Butterfly is from the Majestic Monarchs stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy, which was stamped on Clear Card Stock by Heartfelt Creations. This is great for shaker cards because it is thicker and has great body.  I used the 1/4" Scor-Tape because I needed the strength to keep the clear cardstock firmly in place.

The sentiment is from Stampavie Sweet Wishes, and was stamped on some Heavyweight Vellum and attached with a brad.

Thanks for looking at my card.  I hope you have a Happy stamping day!

We hope you come back every day to see two new cards posted daily that the design team has created not only for the weekly challenge, but we also post two regular cards daily, later in the week, to give you even more inspiration!

Thank you for stopping by!!! Until next time...

Baby Wish Card

Hello! Joy today showing you a baby card I made with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such online store.

This is for my friend who is having a grand-baby! Grandchildren are so much fun! Ask me how I know! Well, here are the details for the card.

The paper is from Storyteller by Kaisercraft. The Sweet Wishes sentiment, from Stampavie, was embossed with Sparkle 'n Sprinkles Gold Detail embossing powder, onto one of the die cuts from the 6x6 pad by Storyteller.  I love the little butterfly sitting on the "w" in Sweet.

The arrow is from Blueprints 13 by My Favorite Things.  I used the stitch line from the set to outline the stripped paper. This is my current favorite die - it adds great detailing and so easy! I popped up the Sweet Wishes panel with Small Joy Foam Pads.

Have a happy stamping day!
