The Stars are Shining

Hello! Diana here using a stamp depicting one of my favorite Christmas songs. To frame it, I cut some blue card stock sponged with Chipped Sapphire distress ink with the largest Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A die. The next layer is using Our Daily Bread Designs' Vintage Flourish Pattern die on white card stock.

I then embossed the lyrics from ODBD Snowflake Stars on blue card stock with white detail embossing powder. The silver stars are cut from with Verve Starry Dies on Spellbinders' Precious Metals Craft Foil and popped up with small Joy! foam pads.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Beautiful Frosty Tree

Hi, it is Shirley posting today. Our challenge this week is toadd an angel to our cards or projects and let the inspiration photo inspire us. I used snow angels on my card. I hope you will join us for this challenge as I cannot wait to see how you use angels on your cards.

I started my card with a white card base and followed with a layer of red foil from the Textured Patterns 1 Foil Paper pack.  Over the red foil, I placed a textured silver foil card stock.

I had some white paper that was already cut into snow banks that I used on the bottom of my card. I cut the trees and red birds using the Impression Obsession Birch Trees die. I cut a Memory Box Frostyville Border and placed it at the top of my card.

The tree was made using the Memory Box Frosted Christmas Tree. I added Stickles to the branches to make them sparkle. The poinsettias were made with the PoppyStamps Small Blooming Poinsettia die.

Last but not least,  I added the snow angels to my card using the Memory Box Choir of Angels die.

I used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to attach the pieces to my card.

Thank you for joining us today.

Joy

Good Morning! It is Shirley posting today.  I have made a card for the Ornament challenge for this week.   I just received a new Sue Wilson die and I was eager to make a card with it, so you will see what I have created with it.

So what do you think?   I was very pleased with it.  The Joy was cut using the Sue Wilson  Joy - Festive Collection.   It has two dies in it.  One is like the one on my card and the other one is really fancy.   I used gold card stock and silver foil from the Foil Paper - Textured Patterns 1.

The silver foil pine branches were cut using the Impression Obsession Pine Branch die.   The Cabrini ornament is a Memory Box die.

I layered my white card base with a layer of gold card stock.  The next layer was embossed using the Dots embossing folder. I made the bow with the Memory Box Precious Hearts die.    I used a silver rhinestone in the center of the bow.  I used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to attach the die cuts to the dotted layer.

Be sure and join us for this challenge.  We love seeing your beautiful cards.

Stockings Were Hung

Hi, it is Shirley posting today.  I am sharing a Christmas card I made for the #110 challenge to use red, white and a touch of green plus add a stocking or mitten.

I layered my white card base with a piece of beautiful red foil from the Textured Patterns 1 paper pack. Next I embossed the next white layer using the Dots embossing folder.

I cut three white wreaths using the Impression Obsession Twig Wreath. I glued them together using Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.

I used the PoppyStamps Stocking Garland die to cut the stockings and the holly. I used scrap pieces of the Foil paper to make them. I save every little piece of this beautiful paper for small items like these.

I felt like my card needed something else, so I chose to use the Impression Obsession Tied Line die to add a little spice to the lower corner. I added a White Pearl to the center of the bow.

I hope you plan on joining us for the challenge! See you there.

Friends

Hi, Diane with you today. This week our challenge theme is Squirrel-y Friends. We were to make a friend card, with the option of adding a squirrel/bird.

I stamped a sentiment from JustRite Seeds of Summer stamp set, thinking it was a perfect friendship message.
I used two of the six dies from the Sue Wilson Kefalonia Greek Collection, popping the outer edge up.

The branch is Impression Obsession Pine Branch. After adding a few branches from Memory Box Meadowbird Branch, I used a Snow Marker to add puffs of snow. I am sure you have seen me use this before. If you are not familiar with it, you just dab it on, heat it with a heat gun and it puffs up, adding snowy dimension.

I also added a bird from the same Meadowbird Branch set. Here is a closeup of the bird.

To finish I cut a birdhouse from Impression Obsession Birdhouse set, and a squirrel from Impression Obsession Squirrel set.

A few gold sequins were added to finish. Make your own sequins using the Sequins die listed below. There are also Foil papers in the CCNS store, so make a bunch in any color you want!!

Thank you for visiting with me today!
