Birthday Blossoms

Good morning, this is a card I made using supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such for the challenge this week for the Bee Happy challenge.

The flower stamp is from JustRite's Botanical Medallions and Banners, the green swirl is from the set and the sentiment is from JustRite's Hope and Love Vintage Labels Eight and Nine.

The pretty paper is from Graphic 45's Secret Garden.  I used Tim Holtz ink and the Mini-Ink Blending Tool to make the blue background and used markers for the coloring. With a few added White Baby Pearls,(which are on sale!), my card was complete.

Lavender

Hi there, Diane here today! This is my card I did for our current challenge Bee Happy.

I stamped Impression Obsession Lavender stamp three times with the pen to stamp technique. I wanted a bit more bling to my card, so I added Sparkle 'n Sprinkle Sugar Plum glitter to the flowers.

For the sentiment I stamped Impression Obsession Lavender Devotion with a grape jelly ink color.

I hand cut both the flower image and the sentiment and mounted it on a background cut from Marianne Anja's Large Oval. The panel underneath is cut in purple card stock and part of the Marianne die set.

The bumble bee I used is no longer stocked, but you could use Memory Box Jolly Bumblebees or Itty Bitty Bumblebees.

Happy Bees

Thanks for popping in to see my take on this week's inspiration challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such blog, to add a Bee.

I loved the color combo of purple and yellow in the photo.
 

I used the Twinkling H2O's Thankful, to color the Memory Box Honey Blossom Sprig.

I generously sponged Squeezed Lemonade on the fishtail banner from MFT Blueprints 13, and splattered the green from the Twinkling H2O's Thankful set. 

To add to the bee theme, I embossed the back layer with a Darice embossing folder. 

I also added some bees popped up with Joy! Small Foam Pads and Clear Dew Droplets.

Hello, Shirley here today! Our challenge for Classy Cards this week is to make a card using the inspiration picture and add a bee.  I chose lavender/purple colors to match the inspiration picture below.

Here is the card I made for the challenge.

I made my layer using the Our Daily Bread Designs Vintage Flourish Pattern die.  I added it to my card using Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.

I stamped my image and sentiment on white card stock using the JustRite Botanical Medallions and Banners stamp set.   I colored it with markers and  cut the image out using the Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence die.

I added a bee embellishment and a bow for the finishing touch on my card.
