Mindy here, with my card that celebrates that it is Time for a New Year and a New You! Many folks make resolutions at the New Year, but I don't have much luck at sticking with them. But then again, there is always next year.
I started by selecting a printed paper from the Frosted Lace paper pad by Wild Rose Studio. It is a perfect paper collection for the New Year, frosty, snowy, and lots of blue and teal colors. I matched the printed paper with a sheet of So . . .Silk Glamour Green specialty card stock that is featured in the Classy Cards n' Such online store. The So . . .Silk Glamour Green made a beautiful A2 size card base, and the print matched it beautifully.
The timepiece I used was die cut from a Spellbinder's die that has been discontinued, but there are many other clock face dies and stamps available to choose from.
I die cut a lacy rectangle from the Radiant Rectangles die, also from Spellbinder's, from a white/gold specialty paper sheet. I used it as a background for my saying, Time 4 a New You! The letters and number die were from other dies I have in my stash. To give them a little sparkle I brushed over them with my Clear Glitter Pen by Wink of Stella.
To finish my card I adhered the watch face with Large Foam Pads by Joy!, a few organza flowers with Pearl centers, and a 2015 sticker to celebrate the New Year. Happy New Year 2015 to all our friends, from Classy Cards n' Such!
